Jones Ranch is located in Northeast Texas near the community of Telephone, where our families have been part of the ranching community for four generations. Brad has spent a lifetime in the cattle industry alongside his grandad since childhood. What started as a commercial cow/calf operation grew into serving our fellow ranchers — both through bovine reproductive services and the supply of elite Angus seedstock since 2000. 

We offer cattle through female sales, private treaty opportunities from the ranch, or as cooperators in the R.A. Brown Ranch bi-annual bull sales in October and March. Whether we’re putting cattle back in our herd or selling them to our fellow Angus breeders, we are utilizing past production records, EPDs and phenotypic measures in every breeding decision made. We’ve walked many miles in our customers’ shoes, and ultimately, we are aiming to produce cattle that are functional, efficient and profitable. Females are the foundation of success at the Jones Ranch, and our mating decisions reflect that. In other words, we know if we focus on the females, elite seedstock bulls will come. Brad’s reproductive training serves our own herd just as well as it does our neighbors and customers — affording us the opportunity to utilize the breed’s most profitable sires. This allows us and our customers opportunities to more effective produce top-notch cattle.
